Interagency for Early Intervention Committee (IEIC)

IEIC coordinates the delivery of county and local services for families with children (ages birth through 6) who have special needs.

The committee consists of representatives from local health, education and county human service agencies; county boards; school boards; early childhood family education programs; current service providers; private and public agencies; and parents of children with special needs.

Parent participation is essential to assure that the interagency ideas and services are addressing real family needs.

Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

PTO coordinates fundraising activities to provide extra support for ECSE programs. The committee is also the decision making body for the effective allocation of funds raised. This committee offers parents an opportunity to meet and work with other parents in ECSE while supporting the extra financial needs of the program.

ECSE personnel and Osseo Early Childhood Special Education program parents comprise the committee. PTO meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8 p.m. Childcare is available as needed. Please contact the Early Childhood Education Center at 763.585.7300 for more information.
